For those of you who don't know...there is an NHL "insider" who has his own blog and internet site and calls himself "eklund"
I read his blogs from time to time and they mainly consist of his "sources" telling him player X is on the move to team Y etc....And for the most part part I find them way wrong, but at least it's an interesting read. But in one of his recent posts he blasts legit insiders like Bob Mckenzie for "being closed minded and taking things at face value" and that he has more sources, better sources etc...Which made me think, why are they on one of the biggest hockey stations, not only in Canada, or North America...but the world...
Therefore, just for my own amusement really I'm starting the Eklund tracker. Basicly if Eklund says there's a good chance a deal will happen (i'll let him slide if he just says "rumoured" to happen). I'll post it heara and we'll see what his batting average will be aftr the deadline.
- 75% chance the Vincent Lecaviler will be a Canadien by the deadline. - Tomas Kaberle will be delt. Period. - Erik Cole will be a Bruin (75%) or Hab (25%) - 80% chance the Jay Bouwmeester will be a Flayer by the deadline. - Alexander Frolov to Buffalo - Kieth Tkatchuk to NYR
i'm sure there will be more to come...
