Wow !! did you guys see this
I used to like Ruutu... reminded me of Ken Lindsmen but this is horrible. I think he deserved more then 2 games for that. Avery got 6 for saying that Phaneuf was bagging is old girlfriend. So my question to you is how long should he have been suspended. I say at least 10 games. This is bad for the Sens and for the NHL.
the funny part is that Ruutu goes back to his bench and washes the bite with some G-aid...

Ruutu is a thug. He actually said he didn't bite Peters and that Peters put his hand in his mouth. I think Ruutu bit down pretty damn hard if he drew blood THROUGH Peters glove. He is now classified as a repeat offender.

Really, when you think of it, what the F**k do you think is going to happen if you put your hand into someones mouth? Look at the video closely, both of Ruutu's hands were tied up.

In some ways I don't blame him because I have always HATED the stinky ass face washes that guys get away with. But it is still supposed to be a civilized game and I have never liked guys with the last name of Ruutu so I say 5 games should've been about right....

Face wash or not, and believe me Ruttu has given his share of them, what makes you bite down so hard that you draw blood through a leather glove? Very unsportsmanlike. There is a line that doesn't get crossed, and he crossed it. Like crushing someones skull with your stick.

it wasnt that bad....yeah a bit dirty, but peters can be dirty himself so i dont think too much of it EXACTLY. But Peters didn't bite someone. That really is crossing the line. Sure Peters is a thug and prolly deserved it, but what Ruutu did was just wrong on so many levels.

And thats whats wrong with so called "Professional" sports today. Allowing things like that to happen. And I'm not just talking the NHL.

hahahah and the fact that he kept saying I didn't do nothing hahahaha....he should kept saying that and the higher ups should just kept adding suspension time to each time saying no I didn't bite him lol

Instead of whining about getting bit though he should've pounded his head in. They are both pussies and that is what is wrong with Professional sports. When guys used to bite in rugby I would just break their noses with my knee or rake them when I put them on the ground....too many Europeans trying to be so called tough guys but or more of a version of a tough pussy...lol!

Just chalk it down to no respect for the other player and no self-respect for most of the players in the nhl today.
Idiot move, but these days its not surprising. Avery, among others, have really opened the door for idiots everywhere.
