I'm very anti-league wide emails, but with a lot of new faces to the league I thought I would be appropriate to send on out. Just a reminder any important is found in the league forum and no more league wide emails will be sent out.
OK, on to real Business.
The Playoffs will end either Monday or Tuesday. Good Luck to both Mark and Andy in the final 2 or 3 games. As soon as the finals end we will be jumping right back into the off-season. Re-rated rosters will be posted immediately and trading can start up again on Wednesday at noon EST.
Since this is our first re-rate with a new simmer, there will be a few changes to the off-season activities we'll be doing. Each GM has the following unless stated otherwise in the forum:
1 NHL re-rate- GM choses a players who ratings don't fairly reflect their NHL career. Their re-rate is based on their career as a whole, no just the 1996-97 season. This player has to be 26 years of age or older, and must be 59ov or lower. They can not re-rate past 63ov. A credible online
1 Simmer re-rate- GM choses a player who's ratings don't fairly reflect the season they had IN THE SIMMER during the 1995-96 season. Any player is eligible for the this. A GM must have a well thought out, written argument with this request. Players ratings will no go up more than 3.
15 Player Points- These are points GMS can add to players to improve their ratings. Players must be 27 years of age or over. You can NOT add more than 7 points to one player and you can NOT add more than 2 points per attribute.
10 Prospect Points- These are points GMS can add to players to improve their ratings. Players must be 22 years of age or under. You can NOT add more than 5 points to one player and you can NOT add more than 2 points per attribute.
Off-season activites can be sent when trading is back on. They also ALL have to be in ONE e-mail and if their is an error in how they are done (IE, no argument for the SIM re-rate or points given out to an ineligible player etc...) they will be ignored and not done. SO MAKE SURE YOU GET IT RIGHT!!!!!!
The Entry Draft date is also set. It will be Sunday May 30 at 8pm EST. If you can not make it, you must send in a draft list. GMs can NOT send a draft rep. Only lists or live attendance. After the draft, Free Agency will start. Also, the Draft will be the GM check. If you don't send a list or attend live you WILL BE FIRED. It doesn't matter how new or old you are. Either participate in the draft or be fired.
