I already have Hasek and Beaupre for now and Turco and Salo for the future, so I doubt I'd waste my pick on Kipper.
I much of a fan I am of Doan's I already have enough grinders on my team.
No need for Redden with McCabe, Gonchar, Yushkevich, Souray and Rathje in the mix....not to mention Bourque...
Which leaves me with Savard or Iggy.....I already have Oates on my team long term, and no reral snipers to go with him....so Iggy would have to be my choice...

Iggy would be my choice aswell with 4 centermen under the age of 24, and Shanny and Smyth on the LW Iggy seems like a good fit to balance out the top two lines

Although we have a few players that could be switched to play the right wing position, current first and second line right wingers are aging quickly (Smith/Mikhailov) it would be a perfect time to start thinking about a replacment. Iginla wold be able to step in almost immediately. That is why, if I had the first overall pick, I would choose him. Northstars

I have the year rookie at center position, Straka. I have two young lw Sanderson and Elias. I have no one on the rw that is young.
So Iginla is the perfect choice for the Whalers

I have some of good young wingers with langenbrunner, demitra and brunette and i'd still take iginla first overall...or trade down to the third overall or so and look for savard maybe.

No doubt a guy like Jarome Iginla would help any club - scoring and toughness....a nice package to have in a youngster!

Other than lindstrom and other guys i do not have much firepower on the defensive end and since i have osgood Kipper wont do me much good so i guess that leaves redden as my pick choice but unless i were to make some drastic moves come offseason time then i would pick him.
