So how are the Northstars doing these days...does anyone know?! Well, they just hit the .500 mark and are climbing in the standings. Less than 10 games ago they were dead last in the conference, and had great chance at landing the first over-all pick in this years draft (Iginla maybe?). But now, after going 7-1-2 and earning 16 out of a possible 20 points they sit seventh.
Although seveth in nothing to talk about really, the Northstars now sit only six points out of FIRST place! The Flames are on top of the conference with 37 points the Rockies have 36 points, four others are tied with 34 points. Then the Northstars are sneeking into contention with 31 points. This conference is up for grabs.
Are the Pirates REALLY that good?! I don't think so. Actually I highly doubt they are as good as the stats are showing. After-all, they DO play in the WORST division. They division is currently home to they bottom four teams in the conference. It must be like stealing candy from babies! I predict a early(ish) exit from the playoffs.
Hey Falcons! Play some defence. Wow can you guys ever score, but poor Tim Cheveldae, he's a much better goalie than his 3.18sv% is showing. And the fact that the Northstars beat you 11-4 in the last two games is proof that you might want to shop the market for another D-man. Word on the street is that unrestricted free agent Rick Zambo is still looking for a respectable contract offer.

In overtime. They still got a point out of it.
I not saying the Pirates are a bad team by any means. I just think there stats will be a little mis-leading.

No overtime points unless it's a tie...
